Entering... the 2nd trimenster!

This Pic shows me at 14 weeks, so just 2 weeks ago. I have a little bump, no one can tell yet, but i know i have changed. It will be interesting to compare pic's as i grow!

I glad to be past the first trimester. Things were going great, not "feeling" pregnant the first month and a half, then, whammo. Nauxsia hits. No bueno! Just for about a month straight I was car sick feeling , but no sickness, fortunately. I just ate and ate and ate to try to settle my stomach.. didn't help but kept my mind of it for a bit. Then right before we were headed off to Maui for our 9 year Anniversary, the queezies pass! Thankfully. The baby got to meet the UofA Wildcats for the first time. Even tho the little thing didn't even have ears yet! Well it was officially our first game as a family! :)
Energy is great, but now I am getting surprisingly exhausted at times and needing naps and rest stops here and there. So I take them.
I am still keeping up with regular exercise, my service schedule/bible studies, and work and home life.. and well that keeps me busy and extra tired now. But over all I am feeling wonderful being pregnant. I had no idea I would like it so much or be so pleasantly relaxed about the process. We have 4 more weeks until we find out the sex! So take your vote! I have no "feelings" either way. I always thought I would relate more to a boy but then as I have gotten older and a bit more girly, I think a girl would be great. Matt just wanted a baby, so he has no favor either way. I am going to take a home gender identity test that they have out and see what it says just for fun.
Well, so here we are at 4 months now. 6 more months to go!

A few photos, the week after

This is the 7 week ultrasound. I thought I was a little further along but nope, just eating lots. My Doc is Dr Moore and it looks like I will be able to deliver at Sutter Santa Cruz in the "spa" suites. I have a hunch that the experience will be a bit different than a trip to the spa!

The flowers are from Matt the day after we found out we are expecting. It was a nice assurance that he was really happy after the previous nights big surprise.

And look who went shopping before me!! Looks like our little one will be joining all those crazy Arizona Wildcat fans.

The Day!

Got up early after barely sleeping a wink after taking 2 tests last night and in shock. Took the test for the 3rd time and there they were again. The two pink stripes. 1 dark and the other light. Don't be fooled people 2 stripes is 2 stripes, no matter how faint that second one is. I went in to work out as usual and had a great workout feeling a little like I had extra powers. Then as soon as the doc's office opened to be sure I ran in to get the blood test. After a confirmation voice mail from my Ob.. yes it is true. Positive. I am pregnant! Let the calls begin! I know it is early, just 5 weeks I guess. But I share everything these days with at least someone... and the sharing began with fam and the best friends. Hee.. lots of tears and excitement out there..

Came home to gorgeous flowers from Matt. What a guy! He is a happy camper for sure.

Took some before pic's tonight to see where I hope to come back to, since I was feeling all good pre Cabo vacation. Ha. What timing. Bye, bye body for now. I have a "passenger" now that Bai says I "need to feed". It will be getting plenty of good food. Not changing much for now.... woah.... lots to learn ahead for sure! Good think I like learning!
