Month 5

Where is the time going? Can you believe she is almost 6 months old! A half a year!!
Some of the hilights of month 5..
Olivia attended her first Circuit Assembly and got to see lots of family, first baby shower for soon to arrive Ela, first wedding , first airplane ride to Arizona, first time eating pears, carrots, peas, and brown rice cereal, first trip to an aquarium .. I am sure I am missing some but that is a start.

The days fly by with not much time to look back. Every day she dazzles us with her love, giggles and chubby cheeks.

Here are a few of my favorite pics.
See you next month!

Go Giants!!
Cousin Jasmine ( big Giants fan) was visiting last week and got her all dressed up for the game.

4.5 months
Look who got her ears pierced! She did great with it all. I was the wimp. Good thing daddy was with us to hold both our hands. She looks extra girly and adorable with her new sparkly ears!

My how she grows!

Olivia is now 3 and 3/4 months. She is growing leaps and bounds. She has about doubled in size and is amazing us every day. Her eyes are still "daddy" blue and her hair is brown and curls up when wet ( I am hopeful ). Some of our most favorite things right now are her crack up laughs and her fascination with her new 2 bff's: her hands. Her favorite places are her swing, the pink Bumbo seat which she can sit up in, any carrier where she is attached to us, the car at freeway speeds and the bath tub. Here are some favorite pics of the last few months.

Here she is!!!

Olivia arrived on June 14, 2010 at 1:55 a.m.
We had a 6 hour amazing labor once contractions started about 8pm Sunday. I had the best coaches ever, Matt and my Mom. I made it through with no complications or medication and felt strong in every way. It was an unbelievable experience I will be forever proud of.

Days 1-3 at Sutter Hospital

Olivia came home with the longest and sharpest nails that scratch her little face up bad. She got a mani first thing!

Here are some pic's of us settling in these last 2 weeks. It has been wonderful to spend time as a family together. We are tired! But are in love with our little girl and adjusting well despite all the newness.
Some of the hilights below...getting out for a walk by the beach in the sunshine, watching some sports :) ( Matt dressed her accordingly) giving her a bath, and watching Matt change diapers and get her dressed! What a dad!
2 weeks have gone by fast! I have a feeling things will not be slowing down any time soon. Hope to savor every moment....
